DARCY

 

​"Dance is my happy place. It uplifts me and makes me feel whole."

Darcy began formal dance training in college where she earned her Bachelor of Science in dance and first discovered her love of performing on stage for an audience. She went on to earn her Master of Arts in dance therapy.

​

With the desire to further her study and continue performing dance, she pursued professional belly dancing.

"I was immediately enchanted by the mystical sound and movement of live Middle Eastern shows."

In addition to performing at                     , Darcy teaches group belly dance workshops and has danced live on WGN and Fox television. She performs in collaboration with local singers and musicians and has been a principal dancer of the former middle eastern dance troupe, Firqit Surayah and currently of the troupe Fananeen Alhambra.
